This Pousada, at Condeixa-a-Nova, was not as exciting, but was still very nice and was in a great location for the day's activities.
Our first excursion was to Coimbra, which is the home of one of the oldest universities in Europe. I have never seen a campus like this- or with such a view! It was very impressive.
The next stop was Conimbriga to visit the site of Roman Ruins; Conimbriga, one of Europe's great Roman archaeological finds and one of the best preserved in the Iberian peninsula. It was pretty big and downright astounding to see things that have lasted more than 2000 years. Wow.
